M. Chapoutier Ermitage L'Ermite Blanc 2008

M. Chapoutier Ermitage L'Ermite Blanc 2008

From Maison M. Chapoutier in Tain-l’Hermitage, Northern Rhône, the Ermitage L'Ermite Blanc 2008 is a refined Marsanne from 100-year-old vines on granitic soils around the Hermitage chapel in the L'Ermite lieu-dit. Hand-harvested from organic and biodynamic vineyards, it’s fermented and aged 10–12 months in oak casks with lees stirring, offering a bright gold hue with vibrant complexity.
