M. Chapoutier Ermitage Le Méal Blanc 2000

From Maison M. Chapoutier in Tain-l’Hermitage, Northern Rhône, the Ermitage Le Méal Blanc 2000 is a refined Marsanne from 50-year-old vines on south-facing, shingle and clay terraces in the Le Méal lieu-dit. Hand-harvested from organic and biodynamic vineyards with 100% destemming, it’s aged 10–12 months in oak casks with lees stirring, offering a bright gold hue with vibrant complexity.
