M. Chapoutier Ermitage Le Pavillon Rouge 2016

From Maison M. Chapoutier in Tain-l’Hermitage, Northern Rhône, the Ermitage Le Pavillon Rouge 2016 is a refined Syrah from 70–80-year-old vines on granitic soils in the Les Bessards lieu-dit. Hand-harvested from organic and biodynamic vineyards with 100% destemming, it’s aged 18 months in oak barrels (30% new), offering a deep garnet hue with vibrant complexity.
