From Paul Jaboulet Aine in France’s Cotes du Rhone, the Parallele 45 2023 is a refined blend dominated by Grenache with Syrah, sourced from organically farmed vineyards on the 45th parallel near Tain l'Hermitage that impart vibrancy and balance. Hand-harvested grapes from the balanced 2023 vintage—marked by moderate conditions yielding concentrated yet fresh fruit—undergo fermentation in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks, followed by 6 months' aging on fine lees to enhance texture and purity. As a classic since 1950, this production yields a pale straw wine with green highlights and remarkable approachability.

Tasting Notes A juicy, fresh and supple Cotes-du-Rhone with a generous core of lemons, warm herbs, and white fruit, light and agile with refreshing aromatics and a mellow finish from organically grown grapes. The nose reveals lemon, warm herbs, and white fruit with subtle floral notes. On the palate, it is light-bodied and refreshing, with vibrant acidity, delicate texture, and flavors of citrus peel, pear, and subtle minerality, leading to a clean, lingering finish.
