Argeo Brut NV is produced by Ruggeri, a respected Prosecco house based in the heart of Valdobbiadene, drawing fruit from selected Glera vineyards in the broader Prosecco DOC area around Treviso. The wine is made using the tank (Charmat) method, with a cool primary fermentation followed by a slow secondary fermentation in pressurised stainless‑steel tanks to preserve fresh fruit aromas and create fine, lively bubbles.
After a period on fine lees in tank, the wine is filtered and bottled under pressure to retain its perlage, aiming for a style that is clean, approachable and subtly elegant rather than heavy or yeasty. The Brut dosage keeps sweetness in check, so the palate feels crisp and refreshing while still showing the variety’s soft, fruity charm.

Awards and Accolades
A published rating lists Ruggeri Argeo Prosecco Brut DOC at 90 points, commending its complex yet delicate bouquet of yellow apple and flowers and its balanced, long, lightly alcoholic palate. Other trade descriptions consistently highlight it as a benchmark, high‑quality Prosecco that is easy‑drinking yet refined, underlining its strong reputation in the category even when specific critic scores are not always cited.
Serving and Cellaring
Serve well chilled at 6–8°C in a flute or tulip‑shaped sparkling‑wine glass to emphasize its fine bubbles and fresh aromatics. This Prosecco is perfect as an aperitif and pairs well with light seafood dishes, fresh salads, antipasti, and salty snacks like parmesan, olives or prosciutto; it is intended for immediate enjoyment rather than long‑term cellaring, ideally within 1–2 years of purchase for maximum freshness.
