Trimbach Riesling Grand Cru Brand Alsace 2019
From the historic Maison Trimbach in Ribeauvillé, Alsace, the Riesling Grand Cru Brand 2019 is a stellar white from a renowned Grand Cru vineyard. Crafted from 100% Riesling, sourced from 0.85 hectares of 65-year-old vines on granite soils in Turckheim, it’s hand-harvested and fermented in stainless steel. Aged three years in cellar, it offers a pale gold hue and exceptional elegance.
Winemaking Process
Trimbach’s purist approach defines this wine. The 2019 vintage, from a hot, dry harvest with superb maturity, undergoes gentle pneumatic pressing and dry fermentation in stainless steel and old casks, avoiding malolactic fermentation to preserve freshness. Bottled in spring 2020 and aged three years minimum in cellar, it delivers a concentrated, mineral-driven Riesling with long aging potential.
