Since our family has owned around 40 ha of vines in Ribeauvillé and in 7 other municipalities, Pierre Trimbach has, for the first time in 2009, rigorously selected some of the best plots of Riesling in Hunawihr and Ribeauvillé . These two villages with marl-limestone soils have enjoyed for decades or even centuries an unrivaled reputation for producing among the best Riesling in Alsace, that is to say that they develop a very beautiful complexity, a crystalline fruitiness as well as '' a fine and precise acidity.
