Collection: Mongeard Mugneret

Vincent Mongeard , as passionate as his ancestors, strives not only to maintain and embellish the family heritage, but also to expand it as soon as an opportunity arises, in order to expand the range of the Domaine.

Today, the estate has around 30 hectares, spread over 35 appellations producing white Burgundy from the Chardonnay grape variety, but also and mainly red wines from the Pinot Noir grape in the best finishes of the Cote.

The vineyard is located halfway up the slopes, facing south-east on clay-limestone soils.

In the heart of Burgundy, between the majestic Château du Clos de Vougeot and the small town of Nuits-Saint-Georges, the village of Vosne-Romanée is surrounded by the most prestigious wines.

Our family has cultivated the vine for more than 8 known generations, that is to say since the year 1620 . The name Mongeard-Mugneret has been famous since 1945, Eugène Mongeard being my grandfather and Edmée Mugneret my grandmother.

As a family, we work around 30 hectares of vines divided into 35 appellations .

  • The Bourgogne Blancs are made from the Chardonnay grape variety
  • Bourgogne Aligoté is a dry white wine made from a very old Burgundy grape variety that bears the same name.
  • Pinot Noir is the only grape variety for all the other red Appellations d'Origines Contrôlées, except Bourgogne Passetoutgrain, where Gamay is associated with Pinot Noir at around 50% in vinification
