From prized old vines at Mt. Harlan's Mills Vineyard (planted 1975), biodynamically farmed on limestone-rich soils with low yields under one ton per acre; the exceptional 2021 vintage featured temperate weather for concentration and freshness. Native fermentation with gentle extraction and 18 months French oak aging (modest new oak) preserve purity and structure at 14.5% alcohol, pH 3.65.
