From Domaine Josmeyer in France’s Alsace region, the Fleur de Lotus 2024 is a refined biodynamic blend primarily of Gewürztraminer with Pinot Auxerrois, Muscat, and Riesling, sourced from 35-year-old vines across ten small parcels on clay-rich alluvial soils between Wintzenheim and Turckheim, featuring sand, shingle, silt, and loess that impart freshness and aromatic lift. Hand-harvested grapes from the balanced 2024 vintage—marked by moderate conditions yielding concentrated yet vibrant fruit—undergo whole-bunch pressing over 5-8 hours, natural fermentation with indigenous yeasts, and aging in stainless steel or large oak barrels to preserve delicacy and complexity. Pioneers in biodynamics since 2000, this production yields a pale straw wine with green highlights and remarkable harmony.

Tasting Notes An elegant, aromatic white with floral spice and vibrant citrus, reflecting Alsace's alluvial terroir. The nose reveals lychee, rose petal, exotic fruits, and hints of ginger and white flowers. On the palate, it is medium-bodied and poised, with bright acidity, delicate texture, and flavors of citrus zest, pear, and subtle spice, leading to a long, refreshing finish.

Serving and Cellaring Serve at 10-12°C with 20-30 minutes of chilling to accentuate aromas. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with Asian-inspired dishes, seafood, or soft cheeses. Enjoy now through 2032, during which it will develop enhanced honeyed and herbal nuances.
