From Kim Crawford Wines in New Zealand’s Marlborough region, the Sauvignon Blanc 2023 is a benchmark 100% Sauvignon Blanc sourced from premium vineyards on the region’s free-draining, stony soils that impart exceptional vibrancy. Hand-harvested grapes are gently pressed and cool-fermented in stainless steel tanks to preserve aromatics and freshness, with minimal oak influence to highlight the pure varietal character. Sustainable practices guide the production, yielding a very pale yellow wine with green highlights and remarkable intensity.

Tasting Notes A vibrant, herbaceous white with zesty citrus and tropical vibrancy, reflecting Marlborough’s cool-climate freshness. The nose reveals lifted citrus, tropical fruit, passion fruit, and crushed herbs, with hints of peach, guava, lime, and tomato leaf. On the palate, it is light-bodied and juicy, with vibrant acidity, fresh textures, and flavors of melon, grapefruit, and herbaceous notes, leading to a zesty, lingering finish.

Awards and Accolades The 2023 Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc earned 91 points from Wine Enthusiast for its intense aromatics and zippy palate.

Serving and Cellaring Serve chilled at 8-10°C without decanting to maintain its freshness. Ideal as an aperitif or paired with seafood, salads, asparagus, or goat cheese. Enjoy now through 2028, during which it will develop subtle stone fruit nuances.
